Lin Mo, a modern office worker, had the reserve grain stamps prepared for his daughter snatched by his ex-wife and her greedy relatives. In despair, his ancestral pocket watch’s supernatural ability is activated, allowing him to travel freely between the famine year of 1961 and 2026. Using modern knowledge from 2026, he trades for scarce life-saving supplies in 1961, converts the grain stamps into huge sums of money in 2026, and transports modern supplies to help his past struggling self. He humiliates his greedy ex-wife, gets rich through his comeback, and builds a stable and prosperous life for his daughter.
