Lin Xiaotang, jobless and heartbroken, hides in a SPA at the end of an alley to heal, only to crash into Gu Zhao—a stunning male therapist in a smoky blue shirt with a mole at the corner of his eye. During the massage, she suddenly blacks out—and when she wakes up, she’s standing at the gate of Yunxia Sect, surrounded by sword-wielding female disciples in a sea of clouds! Even more absurd: Gu Zhao, now in the sect’s moon-white silk dress, hands her a modern men’s shirt with a smile: “Hide this—the Enforcement Hall is checking dorms.” It turns out Gu Zhao is a male disciple hidden in the sect for 20 years, who can open a channel between two worlds by practicing forbidden techniques. Lin Xiaotang is forced to be his “interdimensional partner”: buying modern supplies during the day, helping him dodge sect interrogations at night, and solving “acne from late-night cultivation” for senior sisters. But when the Enforcement Hall finds his forbidden notes, the SPA in reality suddenly starts “swallowing people”—she realizes Gu Zhao didn’t open a channel, but a crack that’s about to collapse both worlds…
