A lame fisherman kicked out of his home accidentally gains the Dragon's inheritance—his leg heals and he gets a special ability to detect seafood in the sea. He meets the beautiful Zhao Qinghe, makes his first fortune by fishing with this power, then gathers his old followers to form a fleet and sets up a fishermen's mutual aid association, leading the entire village out of poverty and staging a wonderful rags-to-riches story.
