When a fishing village boy named Ming goes out to fish, he accidentally saves a deep-sea mermaid trapped in ocean currents. To thank him, the mermaid grants him the ability to perceive all things in the ocean. Returning to the village, Ming tries to live a quiet life, but witnesses the coastal waters being destroyed by illegal sewage discharge and overfishing. Using his special power, he secretly stops bad deeds again and again, and develops affection for the mermaid as they get along. Finally, he teams up with villagers to protect the clear blue sea, gaining both the responsibility of ocean protection and precious love.
