Old Chen spent all his savings to buy boats for his three sons to start their own businesses after dividing family property, but he was driven out to sea by his unfilial sons. When his ship wrecked and he fell into the sea in desperate situation, the ancestral jade pendant on his chest awakened unexpectedly, granting him the talent to control the ocean and command ten thousand fish. After making a fortune with his divine-level sea-fishing skills, he not only did not retaliate against his sons but also helped the whole village get rid of poverty. Later, when his desperate sons came back kneeling to beg for forgiveness, Old Chen showed mercy and finally became a legendary fisher god praised by fishermen for generations.
