Chen Mo, a food delivery guy, gets hit by a car while working and travels back to a 1975知青camp in Northwest China! Awakening a "Time Exchange System," he can redeem rewards—from food coupons to sewing machines—by completing tasks. Right after arriving, he sees Lin Xiaotang, a beautiful知青, being targeted by the camp leader, who wants to send her to the dreaded "Dead Man’s Gorge" to herd cattle. Recognizing her as the "poor girl" his grandma mentioned in his previous life, Chen uses a system-redeemed flashlight to stop the leader, then teams up with Lin to grow mushrooms and open a store. As they fall for each other, the system gives an ultimate mission: help the entire camp escape poverty, or he can never return to the present… Can they succeed and keep their future together?
