Poor courier Gao Yunong, whose father passed away early leaving him with huge debts, rushes around daily to repay them. One day, he receives an anonymous package containing his late father's diary—filled with the confusion of starting a business in the 90s: wanting to "sell goods online" but being called "crazy". On a whim, Gao uses e-commerce knowledge he picked up from delivering packages to write a note: "Dad, listen to me, do it now! The internet will make big money in the future!" Even more surprising, the next day his broken electric bike turns new and his rent is paid. It turns out the diary connects them across time! While delivering packages, Gao acts as his father's "business consultant": "Don't open a physical store—go online!" "Hoard phone numbers for future social software!" His father goes from doubt to following advice, his business booms, and Gao's life turns around—debts are cleared, and he even receives a "time-travel" letter: "Son, I know it's you. Thank you for not letting me miss the future." But when he wants to "meet", the diary closes, with the last line: "If I could redo it, I'd want to watch you grow up." It turns out his father knew the secret all along—this was his way of compensating his son...
