Thirty-year-old patrol officer Chen Mo is known as the "salted fish" in his precinct—he slacks off at work and crashes as soon as he gets off, even new interns tease him about getting fired soon. Until a bizarre murder case with no witnesses and broken clues comes up, he accidentally uses the meticulous observation skills he developed while slacking off to spot a key detail everyone else missed, breaking the week-long deadlock. From then on, whenever crime scenes hit a wall, this laid-back salted fish turns into a hidden detective, keeping his slacker image while turning cases around, kicking off a hilarious and suspenseful daily life.
