Young Taoist priestess Su Wan goes down the mountain to retrieve three stolen Soul-Binding Talismans, only to stumble into刑警 Lu Chuan's serial disappearance case—fragments of her lost talismans are found on all victims! From bickering over "xianxia vs. science" to teaming up, they uncover a sinister plot: someone is using the talismans to steal living souls for black magic. Su Wan's cute straightforwardness softens Lu Chuan's cold heart, while Lu Chuan's reliability makes Su Wan abandon her vow to "abide by Taoist rules." When the last talisman leads to the mastermind, they face both black magic and their true feelings—should they break the barrier between Taoist and ordinary? In the end, they take down the villain, recover the talismans, and gain love that crosses xianxia and reality.
