Modern office worker Lin Hao died from staying up late and woke up in a poor mountain village in 1978—his home was empty, his younger siblings were crying from hunger, and the village chief, holding an old grudge, withheld their relief grain. When desperate, he bound the "Choice System": every key choice brings a reward. He chose to "stand up to the village chief," and the system provided evidence of the chief's embezzlement, turning the tables. He chose to "hunt in the mountains," and the system gave a precise route, allowing him to hunt a deer and earn his first pot of gold. Even more surprisingly, he found a treasure cave of a missing old hunter in the deep mountains, containing a hunting rifle, a tiger skin, and a "Hunting Secret Record"—this was the "legacy" left by the old hunter! But the village chief, unwilling to lose, joined forces with ruffians to steal the cave and framed Lin Hao for "stealing collective property." Can Lin Hao use the system to resolve the crisis? What secrets are hidden in the old hunter's legacy?
