Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office drone, picks up an injured "little black snake" outside her apartment after an all-night shift. She nurses it back to health—only for the snake to transform into Ao Chen, a cold, majestic Dragon Lord in black robes. He’s an ancient Ying Dragon, cursed to his animal form by enemies, and offers Xiaoman three "genie-like" wishes to break his seal. When Xiaoman hesitates on the third wish, Ao Chen’s enemies arrive—and she learns his "wish deal" is really a search for a "true-hearted person" to free him. Her real wish? "To have someone to eat a warm home-cooked meal with." Now, with danger at the door, Xiaoman must choose: use her last wish to save herself, or risk everything to free the dragon who’s already filled her lonely life with warmth?
