On their 5th wedding anniversary, Lin Wan catches her husband cheating with her best friend. In despair, she meets Gu Yan—the husband of her husband’s mistress—another man broken by betrayal, his eyes holding the same pain as hers. To get revenge, they strike a "mutual aid deal": Lin Wan helps Gu Yan expose his wife’s hypocrisy, while Gu Yan assists Lin Wan in delivering a fatal blow to her cheating husband. But as their fake intimacy turns into real affection, and the pleasure of revenge is overtaken by guilt, can these two wounded "victims" let go of their obsessions and find true happiness in each other?
