Lin Xiaoman, reborn a week before the fire, stumbles upon her gentle roommate Su Xiao's secret—a three-meter-long man-eating python locked in an iron cage on the balcony! In her past life, the entire building was destroyed by a stampede and fire caused by the python's escape, and she died after being swept into the flames by the python's tail. This time, she must carefully avoid Su Xiao's paranoid probing, collect evidence of the python's man-eating behavior, and convince skeptical neighbors of the "snake threat". When strange noises come from the iron cage at midnight and Su Xiao's smile twists, can Lin Xiaoman stop the disaster that will devour the entire building within seven days?
