17-year-old Lin Xiaoman locks herself in the attic typing code all day. Her mother, thinking she’s become “withdrawn” after her father’s death, insists on taking her to a psychologist, and neighbors whisper “crazy girl” behind her back. But when the community’s smart elderly care system crashes, losing health data for hundreds of seniors, Xiaoman uses the “Code Algorithm” she’s written for three years to restore it in ten minutes. Then a group of men in suits arrive—her code is exactly the “Old Era Code Restoration Program” the country has been searching for a decade! Those days labeled “insane” were actually a genius conversing with the technical soul of a century ago.
