Zhang Fugen, a kind elderly man living alone, takes in the "considerate nanny" Lin Xiaoman out of loneliness—unaware she's a scammer targeting his retirement savings. Lin pretends to be gentle, lies about her mother needing 200,000 yuan for surgery, and tricks Zhang into transferring the money. Su Xiao, his son's lawyer girlfriend, notices red flags: Zhang suddenly distances himself from family and makes frequent withdrawals. She follows Lin, catches her splitting the money with an accomplice, and records their plot. Finally, Su exposes the scam with evidence, retrieves Zhang's money, and makes the old man see the greedy trap behind Lin's "tenderness."
