Lin Yang, a delivery guy, races around day and night to save for his sick mom's medical bills. One day, while rushing to deliver an order, he's stopped by 5-year-old Tang—an orphan who grabs his sleeve and yells "Daddy". Tang just lost her grandma and mistook Lin (in a similar jacket) for her "dad". Lin takes her in, only to find the broken porcelain doll Tang always holds hides a royal pastry recipe from his grandma—something his mom regretted losing for years. Lin's breakfast shop blows up with the recipe, but Tang secretly writes a goodbye letter. It's not until Lin reads her diary that he learns: his mom once saved an abandoned baby (Tang's grandma).
