Lin Xiaolan is a notorious "lazy bone" at the security company—he takes the shortest patrol route, dozes off during shifts using surveillance cameras, and even colleagues laugh at him for "muddling through life." But this "lazy guy," while covering a colleague’s shift to monitor the old chairman, happens to be slacking off in a corridor corner when he witnesses the old man collapsing from a stroke. Panicked, he uses the first-aid knowledge he learned from a nurse auntie and somehow saves the man. What’s more shocking? After recovering, the old chairman finds him and admits he’s a hermit doctor, deciding to leave all his assets (a clinic, secret prescriptions, and hundreds of millions in wealth) to Lin on his deathbed! It turns out the old man had long noticed: Lin’s "laziness" in bringing breakfast for colleagues is because he wakes up half an hour early to buy hypertension medicine for the独居 cleaning lady; his "laziness" in avoiding field work is because he secretly helps the grandma at the downstairs convenience store watch the shop—his "laziness" is actually gentleness that fears troubling others. Now, Lin has to deal with the old chairman’s family’s doubts and take over the clinic. And a "Lazy Medical Classic" hidden in the clinic is waiting for him to unlock the hermit doctor’s legacy—"heal the heart before healing the body"—with his "lazy" wisdom.
