Zhou Afu has run a fish stall at the vegetable market alley for a decade, gutting fish with precise, unhesitating motions. Yet he’s nicknamed “Divine Eyes” for his uncanny ability to spot customers’ hidden illnesses—though he never interferes. Until one day, newly appointed District Director Li Jianguo comes to buy fish. Zhou suddenly drops his knife and grabs him: “You’ll have a heart attack in three minutes!” Li calls him a “madman” and turns to leave, only to collapse with chest pain. As consciousness fades, he sees Zhou stab a silver needle into his thumb’s hollow... When he wakes up, the doctor says he’d have died if it were half a minute later. Li’s investigation reveals the fishy-smelling old man is actually the “Ghost-Hand Divine Doctor” who vanished 20 years ago—he went into hiding to refuse a powerful figure’s demand for an illegal heart transplant. Now Zhou’s “divine eyes” have saved a life, but attracted powerful people seeking medicine, even threats: “Hand over the medical books or we’ll smash your stall.” All he wants is a peaceful life at his stall—but this time, can he stay hidden?
