Lin Xiaoman, a clumsy helper at a small alley restaurant, takes a temporary chef job at a luxury manor to raise money for his grandma’s surgery. But he slips while carrying a stew pot, spilling hot soup on the owner’s million-dollar antique tea set. Bodyguards swarm him immediately. In the scuffle, his collar tears open, revealing a jade lock engraved with “Xiaoman” around his neck. Suddenly, Gu Nianqiu, a female tycoon from the stairs, rushes over, tears falling on the lock: “I gave this to my son!” It turns out Gu’s son was abducted eight years ago, and the lock was her only clue. The “temporary job” was actually arranged by her assistant—to make Lin “accidentally” enter the manor, reveal the lock, and confirm he’s the son she’s been missing for eight years!
