Lin Yang, a poor young man, joined the army to fund his brother's medical treatment. Three years later, he came home for his brother's funeral, only to find a real estate developer sending a crane to demolish his brother's mourning hall—his brother was beaten disabled for stopping forced demolition and even on his deathbed, he still wanted to protect their old house. Lin Yang smashed the crane in anger, but was immediately surrounded by the developer's thugs. At the critical moment, his former comrade rushed in and shouted "War God", leaving everyone stunned: the man mocked as a "poor soldier" was actually the hidden war god who once took down an entire drug den alone!
