In the old lighthouse of a coastal town, there’s a航海 diary filled with "unfinished" tales——Su Wan, a Republican-era female writer, is reborn out of obsession to find Shen Yan, the naval officer who died saving her from the sea; Lin Xiaoman, a modern surfing coach, picks up a jade hairpin engraved with "Wan" and dreams every night of an ancient boy calling her "home" under the sea; Lao Zhou, the lighthouse keeper, hides a 1999 boat ticket in his drawer, a 30-year wait for A Tang, a fishing village girl. When the lunar 15th high tide overflows the lighthouse steps, the "sea obsessions" of three timelines converge: Su Wan sees Lin Xiaoman in a swimsuit, Lin Xiaoman dreams of Shen Yan in a military uniform, and Lao Zhou finds A Tang’s shell necklace in the waves——the love hidden by the sea for a lifetime finally comes back to them, carried by moonlight.
