Lin Xiaoman, an archaeology graduate, ventures into Ailao Mountain alone to fulfill her grandfather's last wish—uncovering the truth behind the "bear-faced spirit" legend. She accidentally rescues A Zhu, a mysterious boy hunted by poachers, only to discover he's the guardian of the bear-faced spirits—his half-face hides the secret of bear clan blood. As a gang of tomb raiders closes in, Lin uses her urban tricks (diverting pursuers with drones, stopping enemies with pepper spray from Taobao) to outsmart the villains, while A Zhu defuses dangers with his bear clan powers. When the truth from her grandfather's diary emerges—that the bear-faced spirits are forest guardians—Lin realizes she's not just chasing a legend, but a three-generation "guardian pact." And her growing love with A Zhu? It's already become the new legend linking the city and the mountains.
