After staying up late to rant about the absurdity of the drama 《The Sickly CEO Falls in Love with Me》, office worker Lin Xiaoman is suddenly bound by the “Love Rescue System”—her mission: to cure the “love inability” of Gu Chengze, the ice-cold president of her company! Who is Gu Chengze? Her devil boss who makes her revise proposals until midnight, demands coffee at exactly 23°C, and deducts her bonus for being 30 seconds late! To break the binding, Lin is forced into a “reverse pursuit”: delivering milk tea with three times the sugar (making Gu sneeze until tears flow due to allergies), cooking love bento with salt instead of sugar (Gu forces it down then chugs mineral water), even faking a fall to ask for a hug (Gu hands her a folding crutch)... But gradually, she discovers Gu’s coldness is a mask—he secretly blocks falling documents for her, leaves hot milk when she works overtime, and defends her against difficult clients. And the system’s secret emerges: they were lovers in a past life, and the system is here to rekindle their love? When a social animal’s counterattack meets an iceberg’s melt, is this “terminally ill” love a system’s game, or a destined reunion?
