Su Wan, a picture book artist, skyrockets to fame with her series "Love's Unfinished Canvas". To her astonishment, the exhibition's curator is Lin Chuan—her first love whom she's avoided for eight years. Back then, she vanished with only a half-written breakup letter, hiding her leukemia diagnosis to spare him pain. Lin Chuan, however, has lingered in the agony of "being abandoned" ever since. When they reunite, Lin Chuan discovers Su Wan's old medical records in her sketchbook, along with the unfinished line: "I wish I could grow old with you." Just as they begin to mend the "unfinished" part of their love, Su Wan's leukemia relapses...
