Top actress Lin Wan suddenly announces her retirement at the peak of her career, hiding a secret—she’s terminally ill and plans to say goodbye to the world while watching the North Star one last time. But when she enters the observatory late at night, she meets Chen Mo, an observer who’s been there for three years—the anonymous fan who writes her weekly starlight diaries. Chen Mo already knows her condition; he used 100 meteor trails he’s observed over three years to spell “Don’t be afraid” in the sky. It turns out he’s never been a passerby—he’s the one who saved all the starlight, waiting for her to turn around. When starlight falls over the city, Lin Wan finally understands: love isn’t a fleeting meteor—it’s someone turning starlight into courage to fight the darkness with you.
