Young villager Lin Mo returns home to guard his late grandfather’s 800-acre lotus pond, only to have it seized by a local bully in cahoots with outsiders, who plans to destroy the seedlings to eliminate evidence. Cornered, Lin remembers his grandfather’s duck-rearing secret skill and sets a trap: pretending to comply, he uses trained ducks to sabotage the bully’s water conservancy projects and chew construction materials, throwing the bully’s plan into total chaos. Finally, he teams up with villagers to expose the dark deal, retrieves the lotus pond and achieves a stunning comeback.
