In 1960s' deep mountains of Northeast China, hunter Lin Dashan ventured into the remote back mountain to find treasures, hoping to earn betrothal gifts for his eight daughters waiting to marry. He accidentally discovered supplies left over from the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and was just overjoyed to prepare a happy dowry for his daughters when speculators came after the treasure. Lin Dashan had to deal with his daughters' various courtship problems, and protect the treasure and family reunion. A story full of human touches, thrills and reversals unfolded.
