Lu Xiaotang, a popular ancient-style blogger, lives in seclusion in Jiangnan’s Luhua Village to find her missing grandma, gaining fans with her "slow fishery life" videos. One day, Gu Xizhou, a top investment bank CEO driving a luxury SUV, smashes her bamboo fence—he’s carrying his grandpa’s old photo, searching for an old locust tree with a horseshoe mark. They bicker at first: Gu scorns her clay-pot congee as "not star-worthy", while Lu teases him for "looking like a white horse in reed flowers in that suit". But when they hunt for the tree, they learn: the fisher girl Gu’s grandpa saved is Lu’s grandma, and Gu’s scar? It’s from Lu pushing him into the river as kids… Turns out their fate was sown when reed flowers blew in the wind years ago.
