A millennium-old spirit snake undergoes devastating heavenly tribulation, is ambushed and severely wounded by vicious cultivators. In her critical moment, she is saved at the risk of his life by A Mu, a herb-gathering youth. The spirit snake repays him with a supreme treasure for tribulation, but is intercepted halfway by greedy villains who skin her and snatch the treasure, and the youth is also brutally killed. The unwilling spirit snake's consciousness remains, transforms into a human form and descends the mountain, punishing the villains with immortal magic and making all evildoers pay the price, staging a fantasy reversal legend of "those who betray kindness will be punished".
