Su Xiaoman, a quirky handmade candy seller, fights to keep her stall—which funds tuition for welfare home kids—against Lu Jingchuan, a newly transferred cold-faced police officer strict on illegal vending. She uses tricks: sour candies that make him frown, forcing him to man her stall (drawing crowds), and shoving a candy engraved with "Officer Lu" into his hand, saying, "This is bribery evidence." But when Lu learns her secret and Su sees his gentle side with kids, their rivalry turns sweet—he helps her find a legal spot, she makes him exclusive candies. Turns out the cold officer’s soft spot is her smile, and the little boss’s rise is falling for him.
