Su Xiao, a single mom, runs a pancake stall with her 5-year-old son Xiaohetao. One night, she picks up Lu Jingshen—a disheveled, drunk man in a suit—and Xiaohetao suddenly yells “Dad” to him. To her surprise, Lu not only doesn’t refute but also follows them home! Little does Su know, this “clumsy guy” who burns every pancake he makes is actually the missing CEO of a multinational group, who lost his memory due to a plot. Forced to be a “pancake stall son-in-law,” Lu goes from an arrogant CEO to a “hopeless househusband,” being ordered by Xiaohetao to wear a cartoon apron and knead dough. Su, once wary, gradually falls for his awkward tenderness. But when Lu’s memory returns, faced with a wealthy arranged marriage and the warm, ordinary life with Su and Xiaohetao, will he choose the wealth at the top of the pyramid or the warmth of the pancake stall? Can Xiaohetao’s “Dad-snatching game” turn this “picked-up dad” into a real family member?
