Lin Wan, who runs a stall telling "life-and-death fortunes," is actually a forensic doctor in hiding—three years ago, her father died wrongfully by suicide after being framed for "taking bribes to cover up a murderer," and she’s been lying low in the market to gather clues about a wealthy family’s old murder case. On her first day open, she runs into Gu Jingshen, a police officer looking for his missing girlfriend. Using her forensic knowledge, Lin Wan helps him locate an abandoned factory and accidentally solves a serial kidnapping case! The next day, the police station sends a "Crime Buster" pennant, instantly making her stall an internet-famous fortune-telling spot. What surprises her even more is that the funding chain behind the kidnapping case points to the Shen Group, the wealthy conglomerate that killed her father… When the fortune-telling stall becomes a "crime-fighting scene" and the cold刑警 becomes a "fortune-telling partner," Lin Wan’s revenge chess game has just begun.
