Lin Yang, a rural security guard, and his cleaner sister Lin Xiaotang share a tiny rental and eat instant noodles in the big city, always saving the best for each other—no one knows Lin Yang is the "Flame King" who vanished five years ago (the top underground decision-maker with massive wealth and resources), while Xiaotang became the world's invisible richest three years prior via investments. They pretend to be poor to spare each other worry. Until Lin Yang's gold-digging girlfriend Su Qing shows up with her new lover, calling him a "poor loser" and spilling Xiaotang's hot porridge. Next second, twenty luxury cars arrive: Lin Yang's bodyguards bow and call him "King," Xiaotang's assistant holds a ten-billion contract. Su Qing's face pales as Lin Yang gently wipes porridge off Xiaotang's cheek: "No more pretending from now on."
