Six years after her body was hijacked by a transmigrated woman, reducing her to a mocked 'fat slob' in the military family compound, Wang Mei seizes back control. She grits her teeth to launch a stunning comeback: using wit to clear her tainted name, outsmarting malicious neighbors, and hustling to earn 300 yuan to rescue her three kidnapped children from a dangerous bet. As the whole compound gleefully anticipates her failure, a heart-wrenching twist occurs—the kids break free and sob into her greasy arms. This emotional reunion sparks a wave of change, as Wang Mei not only reclaims her maternal dignity but also thrives economically in the 1980s, with budding romance and a life reborn amidst family upheaval.
