A man is kicked out of his family and only gets an abandoned eel pond as his share. Cornered, he unexpectedly digs up hidden gold bars and raises rare golden eels in the pond. His ex-fiancée who once broke off the engagement provokes him, while local bullies besiege him. No longer holding back, he flips out crucial evidence, making all those who once looked down on him kneel and beg for mercy. With treasures from the pond, he finally achieves a full comeback and reaches the peak of life.
