Lin Wan, who just lost her job, suddenly receives a "bizarre offer" from Gu Shen, the president of her former company—to return as a "fault handling specialist" because the equipment always "targets" her: the coffee machine sprays her coffee, the printer swallows her documents, and the elevator always gets stuck on her floor. It's not until she catches Gu Shen adjusting the surveillance that she realizes all the "targeting" is his doing—five years ago, Lin Wan witnessed the death of Gu Shen's sister but lost her memory due to trauma. Gu Shen used this "silly method" to get close to her to jog her memory. As Lin Wan gradually regains her memory, they get drawn into the conspiracy from that year: the sister's death was a murder by the company's top executives for profit. Contract marriage, fake enemies, real affection—this game of "being targeted by items"—is it a pawn for revenge, or a redemption for love?
