Young fisherman A Hai was betrayed by his partner Zhang Ergou and pushed into the deep sea, nearly drowning. Luckily, he was rescued by a mysterious mermaid. The mermaid, grateful that A Hai once saved small stranded marine creatures, blessed him with oceanic power. Since then, fish and shrimp jump into A Hai's net actively when he goes crabbing, bringing him super harvests. Jealous Zhang tried to harm A Hai again but was tangled by a school of fish and suffered his own fault. A Hai not only made a successful comeback and got rich, but also bonded with the mermaid, starting a unique magical crab-catching life.
