Hanchuan, the capital of the Northland Continent, is perpetually shrouded in ice and snow. Female general Ye Wan guards not only the city but also the memory of the boy who saved her a decade ago. Then comes Gu Shen, a man pretending to be a merchant—his features are a perfect match for the boy from her past, yet he’s here to steal the city’s sacred Snow Spirit Pearl. As Ye Wan investigates, she slowly falls for him. But when she uncovers Gu Shen’s true identity as a spy from the Southern Realm, Hanchuan is already surrounded by Southern troops. In the blizzard, she points her sword at Gu Shen—only to see the silver lock she gave the boy ten years ago tucked in his arms. He is that boy, but he carries the weight of his family’s hatred. Love or hate? Guard the city or run away? Will the snow of Hanchuan bury their love?
