After quitting his grueling 996 corporate job, Lin Ye accidentally got stranded in a pasture on the Western Sichuan Plateau. Broke and with no way out, he chose to stay and started by repairing fences and fending off wolves for local herdsmen. Grasping the plateau's survival rules, he stood up to ruthless herb dealers who underpaid herders, saved endangered Tibetan antelopes, and helped villagers develop ecological breeding. What began as a way to make ends meet turned him into a respected "Brother Ye" on the plateau, kicking off his tough and unstoppable life.
