In 2023, Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, finds a box of glass marbles while sorting her grandmother's belongings—inside are reflections of a 1983 rainbow, painted by Chen Mo, her grandmother's teen crush. Accidentally traveling back to her grandmother's 16th summer, Xiaoman meets Chen Mo, who's drawing rainbows on marbles. But her grandmother once said Chen Mo disappeared without a trace that autumn. As Xiaoman helps her teen grandmother pursue love, she uncovers a shock: Chen Mo is from a parallel 2023, and the marbles are the "rainbow gate" linking the two timelines...
