Senior copywriter Su Wan, scarred by her parents’ broken marriage in childhood, firmly refuses to marry, even breaking up with her three-year boyfriend by citing her “fear of marriage”. One day, she covers for her friend at a bridal shop and meets sharp-tongued yet kind wedding dress designer Lu Yu—who seems to be a “marriage advocate” but hides a secret he won’t share.
