In 2025, Lin Wan, a memory restorer, is determined to find her childhood savior—the "Lantern Shadow Brother." She uses AI to reconstruct 100 fading light scenes from the past, yet misses her partner Gu Shen, who always leaves a warm lamp for her late nights and quietly organizes her old mementos. Gu Shen is the boy from her memories, but he lost his childhood memories in a car accident. While Lin Wan fixes everyone else’s memories, she overlooks the "light" right beside her. When a client’s memory fragment reveals the truth and Gu Shen regains his memories after saving her from an accident, they meet at their usual old bookstore on New Year’s Eve.
