Office worker Lin Xiaoman gets laid off after an all-nighter, then slips in the rain into a convenience store shelf—only to pick up a glowy old phone that binds her to the "Underdog Counterattack System"! The system’s tasks are ridiculous: styling stray cats with bows, helping square-dance aunties snatch seckill eggs, with rewards like "workplace sass buff" or "project approval card". But when she uses her skills to impress her former company’s client, she crashes into Lu Jingchuan, the icy CEO—who’s secretly keeping the bow she made for a cat? Even weirder, the system’s voice changes: "Hidden quest: Win over Lu Jingchuan to unlock the ultimate reward!" Juggling bizarre tasks and ambiguous tension with the CEO, Lin Xiaoman discovers: the system holds a secret about a "childhood promise"…
