Su Wan, an intern cultural relic restorer, meets Lin Zhao, an ancient book restorer, at an old goods warehouse. She discovers Lin is her childhood “Little Moon Brother” who gave her a moonstone—back then, Lin lost part of his memory after hitting his head while protecting her from a chasing dog. Su approaches him quietly with the moonstone, helping restore an ancient book about the old alley. Unexpectedly, she finds their childhood photo in the book. When Lin’s fingertips touch the locust leaves in the photo, memories of osmanthus fragrance under the moonlight and being lifted to see stars flood back… He looks at teary Su and whispers, “The moonlight I’ve hidden for twenty years has always been you.”
