Su Wan, a reclusive tea master, joins a “tea charm cultural and creative” company to find clues about her missing master, only to run into Lin Wei, a colleague who’s a pro at “green tea tricks”—stealing her Song Dynasty tea whisking design, crying to the boss to “take the blame,” and even deliberately spilling her century-old tea sample. But Su Wan’s tea art is more than just making tea! She uses a tea whisk to create the “foam clinging to the cup” miracle that impresses clients, uses the tea-serving process to expose Lin Wei’s “tea sample swap” trick, and even the boss sees through Lin Wei’s “tenderness” as an act. When the tea master’s “using tea to outsmart others” meets the green tea’s “using weakness to gain pity,” in this “tea table counterattack,” Su Wan will let all pretentious green teas know: Tea can soothe the heart, and it can also expose the truth!
