Urban girl Lin Xiaoman ventures into the primitive forests of Changbai Mountain to look for her missing mountain guard grandfather. As she digs deeper, Xiaoman learns her grandpa’s disappearance is tied to an illegal poaching and logging gang, and Amu is the centuries-old embodiment of the Changbai Mountain Deity. Facing the life-or-death crisis of taking down the poaching den and their budding bond, Xiaoman must make a tough choice between protecting the mountain and saving her grandpa.
