Su Wan, an ancient spirit cultivator, was brutally murdered by her lover Luo Xiuran and her best friend. Before her soul dissipated, she swore to make the unfaithful pay with their blood. Ten thousand years later, she is reborn as a useless follower of Han Yuan—the most feared villain in the immortal sect! To her shock, Han Yuan looks exactly like Ming Ye, her past benefactor who saved her from danger! Now Luo Xiuran has become the leader of the immortal sect and is leading an army to besiege Han Yuan Palace in the name of "eliminating evil and upholding justice". Su Wan pretends to be a submissive follower to collect evidence against Luo Xiuran while trying to uncover Han Yuan's identity. But as they get closer, she discovers that Han Yuan has long seen through her disguise and has even secretly been helping her with her revenge plan... Is this "follower" drama a mutual scheme or a fated redemption spanning ten thousand years?
