Lin Wan, a city lawyer, takes on a 10-year-old missing person case. Inside the file is an old pen—her brother’s birthday gift before he disappeared. Since then, she’s woken up every night to anonymous texts: “Your brother’s watch is in the old power plant warehouse,” “The last name he called was yours.” Lin Wan starts investigating at night, only to find her quiet programmer roommate Chen Mo frequently lingering near the crime scenes. When she confronts him with the pen, Chen Mo pulls out a yellowed photo: “Back then, I hid in a warehouse cabinet and watched your brother push me into the safe passage—before he ran toward those men…” As the long night remains dark, the old case’s shadow clings to them, and unseen eyes are watching every step they take toward the truth.
