When a super cold wave strikes, fruit buyer Lin Cheng arrives with cash to purchase oranges at a guaranteed price. Greedy villagers refuse to sell at the agreed rate, demanding a much higher price. Overnight, the cold wave intensifies into a catastrophic disaster, freezing all oranges in the orchards into rotten ones. The villagers, now suffering massive losses, panic and beg Lin Cheng to take the rotten fruits to reduce their damage. Lin Cheng stares at the frozen oranges, torn between helping them without resentment or standing by indifferently.
