Lin Wan, owner of a forest homestay, clings to her grandma’s legacy and stubbornly refuses to sell the land to developers. Until one evening, as deep dusk settles, Gu Shen— a man in a suit— bursts in. He claims to be a “guest seeking memories,” yet can’t take his eyes off the old wooden box holding her grandma’s relics. When Lin Wan uncovers that Gu Shen is a “persuader” sent by the developers, long-buried childhood memories surge: he was the little boy who buried a “time capsule” with her in the woods. Now, he’s torn between his work KPI and his desire to help her save the last piece of forest. As dusk deepens, their lies and true feelings grow more entangled— this time, are they searching for “giving up” or “starting over”?
